Stacey Slater (Lacey Turner) is set to face heartbreaking rejection from teen daughter Lily Slater (Lillia Turner) in upcoming EastEnders scenes, following the revelation of her affair with Jack Branning (Scott Maslen).

Stacey and Jack have been romantically involved with one another since before Christmas.

After Denise found out that they had slept together, they both swore that it was a one off and there were no feelings between them.

However, they soon realised that there was more to their one night stand than either of them had anticipated, and they soon embarked on a fully fledged affair.

There were fireworks in recent scenes as the extent of Stacey and Jack’s betrayal was finally revealed in front of their stunned families, and it was safe to say that Lily wasn’t impressed by her mum’s behaviour.

After watching Martin Fowler (James Bye) and Jack knock seven bells out of one another, Lily turned on Stacey and announced that she hated her, before revealing her plans to take baby Charli and stay with Martin.

Stacey was left devastated, and things only got worse as Martin made it clear that he couldn’t forgive what she’d done.

However, in upcoming scenes Stacey attempts to build bridges by paying Lily a visit at Martin’s house.

Unfortunately, Lily isn’t as open to the idea of an emotional reunion as Stacey hopes, and she soon makes it clear that she isn’t prepared to forgive.

As Stacey begs her for another chance, Lily remains firm as she sends her packing, leaving Stacey devastated.

EastEnders spoilers follow.

EastEnders has unveiled a new look at the aftermath of Stacey Slater and Jack Branning’s affair being exposed.

First-look photos from Wednesday’s (March 20) episode show Stacey desperately trying to explain herself to daughter Lily Slater, only to be rejected.

It was Stacey’s former husband Martin Fowler who publicly revealed that he’d seen Stacey kissing Jack in the most recent instalment.

Denise Fox knew about Jack’s affair with Stacey last year, but Jack had been insisting he was committed to his marriage in the past week.

Martin discovered that the affair was ongoing during his return to Walford, though Stacey and Jack had pleaded with him not to tell anyone. A shocked Martin wasn’t sure what to do, though Stacey tried to insist the whole matter was none of his business since they were divorced.

All the while, Denise’s daughter Chelsea Fox was starting to suspect something wasn’t right between her stepfather and Stacey.

The situation came to a head just after Jack confessed to Denise that he’s been worried about her mental health for months.

The affair continues the tangled web between the Slaters and the Brannings, as Stacey has previously been romantically connected with Jack’s brother Max Branning and late nephew Bradley Branning.

Jack has his own unorthodox marital situation, as he was once with Chelsea before marrying her mother Denise. If this wasn’t all complicated enough, Jack’s son Ricky Branning has a child with Stacey’s daughter Lily.

These new scenes between Stacey and Lily will air on Wednesday (March 20) on BBC One and BBC iPlayer.

EastEnders airs on Mondays – Thursdays at 7.30pm on BBC One. The show also streams on BBC iPlayer, where most episodes drop early at 6am ahead of their TV broadcast.

The drama continues to unfold in the aftermath of Stacey Slater and Jack Branning’s affair in Wednesday night’s installment of EastEnders.

The pair have been enjoying a secret romance in recent months after they ended up in bed together back in January, much to fans dismay.

And now with the affair out in the open, Stacey’s (Lacey Turner) life has been turned upside down as she is left begging for her daughter’s forgiveness in upcoming scenes.

Emotional, the mother has faced a major backlash from Lily (Lillia Turner) who has decided to go an stay with Martin and sends Stacey packing.

The couple’s affair was revealed as Stacey and Jack (Scott Maslen) were caught in an compromising position by Martin in Monday’s cliffhanger, just as they had finally accepted that their relationship had to come to an end.

Martin (James Bye) headed off to Australia in January, and his early return left Stacey in a bit of a frenzy as she begged him not to tell Denise about what he saw.

While Stacey admitted that she was seeing Jack, but isn’t anymore, Martin left to confide in Kathy (Gillian Taylforth) about his latest discovery.

As Martin remained torn over what to do, Jack’s guilt got the better of him and he broke down with Denise (Diane Parish) in the kitchen and confessed to the affair.

After a heartfelt conversation the pair decided to stick together pondered his decision, the guilt began to overwhelm Jack and he ended up breaking down to Denise in the kitchen.

This led to them having a heartfelt conversation, where they vowed to stick together no matter what.

Later on Martin had a confrontation with Chelsea (Tiana Benjamin), as she defended Jack and accused him of stirring the pot.

Her accusations caused Martin to snap, and he revealed he had walked in on Stacey and Jack kissing outside.

Furious, Chelsea then headed straight to confront Jack and Stacey publicly in front of their families.
