EastEnders confirms two disturbing murder twists as an exit rocks the Square in 55 pictures

With ultimatums dished out and suspicions aplenty, EastEnders lines up another unmissable week which you can sneak a peek of with Metro’s brand new picture gallery, offering 55 snaps of the action.

Don’t say I don’t look after you!

It’s Mother’s Day in the Square and, while Cindy Beale (Michelle Collins) is enjoying having so many of her children close to her on the special day, George Knight’s (Colin Salmon) thoughts are with his own mum.

That is, his biological mum, who he can’t find any trace of online, leaving him frustrated. Gloria (Elizabeth Counsell), meanwhile, struggles with the estrangement from George, as she reflects on Mother’s Days gone by and the cards her son made for her.

Eddie (Christopher Fairbanks) is on hand to make things even worse, ordering her to get in touch with George, who subsequently stops by the flat to give them a piece of his mind for getting in touch.

Evil Eddie, however, turns the tables with another bombshell, revealing that he’s got some information on George’s birth mother.

George is taken aback but the bigger shock comes seconds later when racist Eddie states that he’ll only hand over such information if George gives him a character witness in court!

A sickening move from the criminal. The question is: will George do as Eddie has demanded? Or will he resist?

That remains to be seen but the patriarch soon vanishes, leaving his loved ones worried sick!

Elsewhere on the Square, there is panic for various members of The Six when Amy Mitchell (Ellie Dadd) and Ricky Branning (Frankie Day) reveal their desire to see Denise Fox (Diane Parish), who is still in hospital after she was sectioned last month.

Johnny Carter (Charlie Suff) encourages Stacey Slater (Lacey Turner) to get to Denise before the kids – or worse, Jack (Scott Maslen) – so that she can talk her into staying shtum.

Stacey manages to secure a visit with Denise, who reveals that she’s no longer hallucinating Keanu Taylor (Danny Walters) but, despite this, she intends to stay put.

Jack, meanwhile, soon interrupts, demanding to know why Stacey is there!

Try talking your way out of this one, Stace!

Denise Fox (Diane Parish) is to leave her family speechless over a huge decision in upcoming EastEnders scenes.

Denise has been spending time in hospital after being sectioned under the mental health act, that was spurred on following hallucinations of Keanu Taylor (Danny Walters).

On Christmas Day last year, she hit Nish Panesar (Navin Chowdhry) with a champagne bottle, knocking him unconscious, and then witnessed Linda Carter (Kellie Bright) murder Keanu.

Alongside four other of Walford’s women, they then concealed the body under the floor of the burnt out Bridge Street Café – but in a scuffle, Denise fell into the grave.

If that wasn’t traumatic enough she then realised that she had accidentally buried her iconic ‘D’ shaped necklace, which triggered a series of worrying visions when her health began to spiral.

Things went from bad to worse when she decided to run off into some woodland as darkness set in, and civil partner Jack Branning (Scott Maslen) had to rescue her.

In upcoming scenes, step-children Amy and Ricky Mitchell (Ellie Dadd and Frankie Day) are desperate to see her, but she is still refusing to speak to any of her family.

When Johnny Carter (Charlie Suff) warns that the big Christmas secret looks set to be exposed, Stacey Slater (Lacey Turner) attempts to make a visit – and she agrees.

At the hospital, Denise assures her that whilst she is no longer suffering from hallucinations, she intends to stay there.

Stacey tries in vain to get her to return back to Albert Square to be with her family, but she is dead set against it and things turn messy when Jack arrives.

When he questions why Stacey is there, and why Denise has agreed to speak with her and not him, Jack begins to do some digging.

George Knight (Colin Salmon) was left heartbroken in recent EastEnders scenes when he discovered that adopted dad Eddie (Christopher Fairbank) had murdered his biological father Henry Kofi Asare in a racially motivated attack.

Eddie is now set to face trial for the murder, and was hoping that son George would stand as a character witness to strengthen his case – something which George recently told his family he was refusing to do.

However, in upcoming scenes, George is hit with quite a blow when he learns that no DNA matches have been found following his test, and there is no trace of his birth family.

After encouragement from Elaine Peacock and Cindy Beale (Harriet Thorpe and Michelle Collins), George reluctantly reveals the truth about his heritage to daughters Anna and Gina (Molly Rainford and Francesca Henry), and they are horrified to hear the truth about Eddie and the trial.

When Gloria Knight (Elizabeth Counsell) then rings the pub, having been coerced by Eddie into begging George to give a witness statement, he heads to his parents’ flat to lay down the law.

Though he intends to warn them never to contact him of his girls again, he is left reeling when Eddie reveals that he has information on his birth mum.

However, he informs George that he will only share it if he stands up in court as Eddie’s character witness.

The ultimatum leaves George in turmoil, and Elaine and the Knights desperately concerned for him.

In a bid to help George make up his mind, Elaine calls in Johnny Carter (Charlie Suff) for advice on the legal implications of George giving the statement, though the pub landlord remains conflicted.
