EastEnders is full of explosive scenes next week as the BBC One soap has hinted at a huge return while soap fans will be welcoming a familiar face back on Albert Square

EastEnders fans will be left gripped next week with a series of explosive storylines in Walford.

Spoilers have hinted at a huge return as a new storyline takes shape on the BBC soap as Dean Wicks makes a bold decision about his daughter Jade. Also in Albert Square, the hit BBC One soap will air a huge return next week as one resident makes their way back to Walford, where they’re set to uncover a big secret. Here are the biggest moments to look forward to on EastEnders next week…

EastEnders return ‘revealed’ for character 15 years after debut as triple exit looms

EastEnders has hinted at a huge return as a new storyline takes shape on the BBC soap. Dean Wicks arrived on the Square last October to be with his daughter Jade, who was receiving treatment at the local Walford hospital.

His return left Linda Carter horrified and she struggled to cope with him back in the Square, turning to drinking and then with everything that happened in Walford at Christmas with Keanu Taylor, things got even worse for Linda.

Things are also not great for Dean, and on the Square next week, he is dealt a blow when he’s told he can’t come to Jade’s fundraiser. Jean is keen for the Queen Vic to be the venue for the fundraiser, and Linda agrees on one condition – that Dean doesn’t come. Jade ends up having a horrifying coughing fit and Jean calls the doctor, leaving Dean worried.

His worries deepen when Jade gets a look at his phone. It reveals that he has been avoiding Shabnam’s calls and text messages, which he later admits to and manages to persuade them there’s no malice behind it all. Jade is puzzled why Shabnam is adamant she needs to return to Pakistan, knowing that she’s so unwell.

Jade is completely unaware that it’s Dean’s meddling that is causing the trouble for her. Later, Johnny taunts Dean about not being able to go to Jade’s fundraiser, which makes him even more adamant that he wants to be there. Jade begs Elaine to just let him in to see her speech, as they all wait for the big moment.

Dean tells Jade he wants her to stay with him in London, but she insists she needs to be back with her mum in Pakistan. Linda is furious to see Dean there in the bar, and she rushes upstairs with Jean behind her. Realising that Dean is playing them, Jean rushes downstairs and orders Dean to leave.

Some fans have been speculating the constant mentions of Shabnam could mean she is on her way back to Walford, whilst others are convinced she could arrive and take Jade back with her, leaving no real reason for Dean to be in the Square. Could this storyline end with a triple exit for all involved – or what twists and turns are ahead?

EastEnders character makes huge return as The Six secret set to finally be exposed

EastEnders will air a huge return next week as one resident makes their way back to Walford. Martin Fowler – played by James Bye – will make a beeline back to the Square next week in huge scenes, as he’s set to uncover a big secret. Next week on the BBC soap, Jack is worried about Denise’s ultimatum and when he confides in Stacey that Denise has given him the ultimatum, she urges him to do whatever she wants to keep the peace.

Stacey also meddles in Denise and Jack’s marriage and heads to see her and urges her to keep her romance on track. They decided to arrange a family BBQ to get everyone together for the sake of baby Charli, given that Jack’s son Ricky is the father of Stacey’s daughter Lily’s baby and soon the BBQ is in full swing but things are awkward between Denise and Stacey.

As they disappear into the back garden, Stacey tells Jack she wishes she could have him for herself but knows that he needs to be there to support Denise. They embrace in a hug but lean in for a kiss just as Martin walks in. The pair are forced to defend their affair, as Jack and Stacey tell Martin their kiss was just a moment of madness and beg him not to tell anyone, especially Denise. Chelsea arrives and interrupts, and is very suspicious when she notices Stacey following Martin hurriedly.

Stacey later admits to Martin that she has been having an affair with Jack but urges him not to tell anyone as it’s none of his business and it’s all over now. He seemingly agrees but later talks to Kathy about what happened. Not knowing how much is riding on this secret, and how it could cause trouble for all The Six, Kathy tries to persuade him to keep things to himself.

Jack and Denise, alone at their house, have a frank talk where he breaks down as he admits he’s been terrified for her. It leads to a breakthrough for them as a couple as they decide they need to fix things and get their marriage back on track.

But with Martin now knowing about the affair, and Kathy encouraging him to keep the secret for seemingly no reason, will Martin work out that something has gone on between an unlikely mix of women on the Square. Is this the start of The Six’s Christmas murder being revealed – or will Martin keep quiet about what he’s seen and keep The Six’s secret firmly buried?

DEAN Wicks’ comeback to Albert Square has been the bane of Linda Carter’s life as she struggles to cope with her rape trauma.

The pub landlady is scared out of her wits in EastEnders as her attacker makes an appearance in the Vic. Why does he show up?

And she's terrified when he arrives in The Vic next week

Linda Carter (portrayed by Kellie Bright) encountered her worst fear on Halloween when Dean Wicks (Matt Di Angelo) returned to Walford for the first time in seven years.

Regular viewers of the BBC One soap predicted Dean would return to get his revenge on Linda, whom he raped in 2014.

Since resurfacing, Dean has left Linda unsettled, anxious and too drained to resist the booze, with her addiction making a comeback and worsening following Keanu Taylor’s murder.

Dean has also tried to clear his name by forcing Linda into a false confession that she had made up the rape allegation weighing against him – which she accepted to protect George Knight.

But in scenes airing next week, he surprisingly makes his way to the boozer as he’s looking for his daughter Jade Green (Elizabeth Green).

It all begins with Jean Slater (Gillian Wright) picking out a venue for Jade’s fundraiser and she settles on The Queen Vic.

She is then surprised when Linda agrees to welcome Jade’s event in her pub but there’s one condition Jean needs to keep in mind – Dean isn’t allowed to attend.

Back at Dean’s place, Jean is terrified when Jade has a bad coughing fit and she calls the doctor, much to his horror.

Things only get worse when Jade takes a look at his phone.

Regular viewers of the London-based program will remember that Dean hatched a shock plan to keep Jade close to him and avoid her from leaving for Pakistan with her mother Shabnam.

But will what Jade find on his phone be in relation to his plan?

Dean has a lot of explaining to do as Jade and Jean confront him about dodging Shabnam’s calls and texts.

He manages to persuade them that he’s been putting his head in the sand and avoiding Shabnam.

Jade wonders why as she points out that her mother knows she’s still too ill to go to Pakistan.

In later scenes, Jade asks Dean if she can go to the fundraiser at The Vic, but he insists that he’ll only let her if she’s well enough.

Jade remains completely unaware that Dean is tampering with her antibiotics to keep her by his side.

Johnny Carter (Charlie Suff) taunts Dean about being banned from Jade’s fundraiser, making him determined to find a way to get there.

After resorting to his devious tricks and successfully manipulating Jean and Harvey Monroe (Ross Boatman), Dean arrives at The Vic.

All hell is about to break loose when Jade begs Elaine Peacock (Harriet Thorpe) just to let him see her speech.

As they wait for her big moment, Dean begs Jade to stay with him in London, but she insists she needs to go to Pakistan and be with Shabnam.

Things go from bad to worse as Linda is furious to see Dean in her bar and she rushes upstairs, with Jean right behind her.

While there, an emotional Linda makes Jean see that Dean is playing her, prompting the cleaner to return downstairs to order him to leave.
