This article contains spoilers from Wednesday’s (March 20) EastEnders, which has not yet aired on TV but is available to watch now on BBC iPlayer.

Dean Wicks (Matt Di Angelo) has been taking extreme action to keep daughter Jade Masood (Elizabeth Green) close to him in EastEnders, but just when we thought he couldn’t stoop any lower he surpassed all of our expectations.

After learning that Jade planned to move to Pakistan with mum Shabnam once she had recovered from her chest infection, Dean began tampering with her antibiotics, leaving the pill cases empty so that they had no affect.

In more recent scenes, Dean accompanied Jade to her fundraiser in the Queen Vic, much to the horror of Linda Carter (Kelli

However, Jade was determined to move to make the move to Pakistan, and made it clear that nothing Dean said could make her stay with him.

Furious at being defied, Dean disconnected the tube from Jade’s oxygen tank, leaving her completely vulnerable.

It didn’t take long for Jade to grow breathless, and Dean was instantly there to support her.

However, after a conversation with Linda, Jean Slater (Gillian Wright) decided it would be best if Dean left, and soon he was being wrestled out of the building by Johnny Carter and George Knight (Charlie Suff and Colin Salmon), despite his insistence that he needed to be there to care for his ailing daughter.

As Jade stood up to deliver her speech, Dean was forced to listen from outside, and he grew concerned as it became clear that Jade was struggling to breathe.

Things took a shocking turn when Jade collapsed, sending the crowd into a panic, with Billy Mitchell (Perry Fenwick) rushing to find Dean.

As Dean came to Jade’s aid, he placed the blame for her condition on an upset Jean. With no one suspecting Dean of vandalising Jade’s oxygen, will he get away with his crime, and will Jade pull through, or has he killed his own daughter

Dean Wicks (Matt Di Angelo) has been tampering with Jade Masood’s (Elizabeth Green) antibiotics in EastEnders, but unbelievably he was prepared to stoop even lower in recent scenes.

Jade recently revealed that she was planning to move to Pakistan with mum Shabnam as soon as she was well enough, which led possessive Dean to take drastic action against his daughter.

After she was diagnosed with a chest infection and given antibiotics, Dean began to empty out the capsules before giving them to her, so that she wouldn’t get better and would have to stay with him for longer.

In Monday night’s (March 18) episode, Jean Slater (Gillian Wright) was left worried when Jade had a serious coughing fit, and

When Dean returned home and found out that the doctor was on his way, he instantly panicked about being found out.

In a shocking move, he manipulated Jade into lying to the doctor in a bid to save his own skin.

While the doctor was washing his hands, Dean told Jade he would likely send her back to hospital – somewhere Jade really didn’t want to be.

Dean managed to persuade Jade to lie to the doctor and tell him that she was feeling better in order to avoid a trip to hospital and, surprisingly, it worked.

However, Jean wasn’t very happy with the doctors assessment, and pointed out to Dean that Jade should have been admitted to hospital.

It was clear that Dean was fed up of Jean getting involved, and was soon insisting that she leave.

With the doctor gone, it seemed as though Dean had gotten away with it, until Jade came through holding his phone.

She revealed that he had been ignoring Shabnam’s calls and texts, and demanded answers.
