EastEnders fans have been desperate to know when Sharon Watts (Letitia Dean) is set to return following her sudden departure in January, and it may be sooner than we think, as some fans have worked out.

Sharon secretly headed off to Australia to spend time with best friend Michelle Fowler following the murder of Keanu Taylor (Danny Walters) on Christmas Day 2023.

The rest of The Six were horrified by her sudden departure, as they realised that they would have to deal with the aftermath of the murder without her help.

Poor Sharon had been having a rough time even before Keanu’s death. She had dealt with the faked kidnapping of son Albie before discovering that he wasn’t Keanu’s son, as she had previously believed.

With all of this plus a murder to deal with, it’s no wonder she wanted some time away.

However, fans are desperate for the icon to return, and one eagle-eyed viewer found a pretty important clue which has given us an idea of when she may be due back.

While that seems like a long time away, another fan pointed out that she would need six months left on it in order to travel, meaning that she would have to return to the UK by April.

In a recent video, co-star Diane Parish, who plays Denise Fox, confirmed that The Six would be reunited soon, which suggests that we don’t have too much longer to wait to see Sharon back on our screens.

However, it is possible that Sharon could have renewed her passport since the episode the screenshot is from, given that it still shows her married name ‘Sharon Mitchell’.Despite these things, we are hopeful that we won’t have long to wait before Sharon is back on the Square, and we’re sure she will bring plenty of drama with her.

EastEnders spoilers reveal high drama, sad discoveries and major twists next week on the BBC soap.

There’s an exit hint for one character amid a huge storyline as they take some time away from Walford. Alfie Moon flees after a cancer operation, but will he be back? Elsewhere, a character goes missing in worrying scenes in the fallout to another resident’s crimes being exposed.

Cindy Beale is up to her scheming ways again, and this time she targets the Panesars resulting in a clash with Nish Panesar. Also on the soap next week, villain Theo Hawthorne continues to torment Stacey Slater after months of stalking her. Here’s the biggest moments happening in Albert Square in the next set of episodes…

EastEnders has hinted at a potential exit for Alfie Moon amid his prostate cancer diagnosis storyline. Viewers of the BBC soap have recently found out that Alfie had lied to Kat that he didn’t have prostate cancer, and in fact had actually been diagnosed with the illness. Next week on the BBC soap, Alfie is struggling after his operation.

When Tommy has his debut fight, he is worried about Alfie turning up to watch. Phil promises that Alfie will be there, but he is struggling with his own feelings after cheating on his new bride Kat Slater. Phil heads to the hospital to pick up Alfie and bring him to the Boxing Den but it’s clear that he’s not doing well and needs some more time.

Alfie tells Phil that he needs some time to recuperate in Spain, whilst Phil returns home and tells Kat that he’s worried about breaking the news to Tommy, unaware that Tommy knows all about it, having overhead them. Tommy lashes out, fuming at Alfie, but Kat tries to reassure him he’ll be back. With all the disappearance acts he’s done in the past, Tommy can’t quite believe that would be the case.

Cindy Beale looks set to clash with the Panesars next week as she settles back into Walford following her epic return. After taking aim at Vinny Panesar in a bid to get his parents Nish and Suki Panesar on side for the Beales’ new family business, Cindy turns her attentions to head of the family Nish next week in a bid to get his investment. But things do not go to plan after an incident with Nish’s son Ravi Gulati, and Cindy ends up clashing with him.

Spoilers for next week reveal she manages to sort a meeting to get contracts signed. Cindy plans to launch a pie and mash shop business, and soon she’s using son Peter’s past romance with Suki to get what she wants, telling Vinny to get Nish on side. Later on, Nish is just about to sign the deal with the Beales when he finds out about Nugget being missing. Cindy’s continued efforts to get the deal done provoke fury in Nish and he snaps at her, with her too focused on the contract amid Nish’s family news. He slams her parenting record, leading to her hitting back before ripping up the contract in his face. With the deal off the table, will the two families go to war?

EastEnders will air concern next week as a character goes missing on the BBC soap, following a killer reveal. Ravi Gulati’s actions have huge repercussions as someone disappears from Walford, just after his killer crimes came to light to some residents. In the lead-up, Nugget is left shocked by something Suki tells him about his father, resulting in him taking refuge elsewhere. Ravi tries to reason with his teen son but can’t get through to him. Next week, it’s been revealed Nugget goes missing with his whereabouts unknown.

Ravi is in turmoil and quickly lashes out at Suki, blaming her for him being AWOL. As the Panesars find out, the search for Nugget begins and Suki is riddled with guilt. She’s shocked though when he calls her in secret and confirms where he is. Suki keeps this from Ravi, wanting to make him worry after what he put her through. As Ravi gets the police involved, he is horrified to be questioned before Nugget’s pal Denzel reveals his son is scared of him. Ravi is blamed for him going missing, while Suki is soon quizzed by officers about any issues at home.

She considers dropping Ravi in it but Nish interjects the line of questioning, as does Ravi. Denise is accused of stirring things up with the police, but she unleashes some home truths. Ravi begins to lose it over his son’s disappearance and scours the streets for him. But will Nugget come home?

EastEnders spoilers reveal stalker Theo ups his vile antics next week on the BBC soap, with a cruel plan against victim Stacey Slater. Theo was finally exposed to the Slaters in recent scenes as being the one harassing Stacey, while it was also confirmed he was her super keen client on her SecretCam profile. A subscriber had been demanding specific content and one-on-one time with Stacey for extra money, all around the time Theo started getting to know the family.

After Theo was exposed in a recent episode, following creepy messages and break-ins, Stacey went to the police but there was “no evidence” to charge him. Instead he was released, and Stacey was horrified when Theo began renting the house next door to her own. With Theo refusing to go away and not facing punishment, Stacey is at a loss at how to get past the issue.

But things look set to get worse next week, as spoilers reveal Theo strikes again and this time, he gets the whole of Walford involved. Theo cruelly leaks content sent to him by Stacey under her SecretCam profile. Billy Mitchell is one resident who receives raunchy images of Stacey and it’s not long before she finds out.
