BBC EastEnders fans demand to know where ‘missing’ Nish Panesar is after homeless twist

A week after EastEnders fans saw Nish Panesar served up his just deserts and made homeless, they say the silence is deafening as there’s been no update on what happened next

EastEnders fans have been left asking if they have missed an episode after demanding to know where Nish Panesar is.

Viewers of the BBC soap have been transported to Milton Keynes as Whitney Dean and Zack Hudson visited Bianca Jackson but many want to know what’s going on closer to home. Whitney told her step-mum that she was expecting a baby but the trip didn’t exactly go to plan.

Fans haven’t all be pleased with the distractions. Many have been left wondering where Nish is after he was disowned by his family last week and he was left homeless. The Panesar family twist came after Suki tried to call a truce with her estranged husband and he attacked her.

Vinny, Ravi and Priya came to Suki’s aid as they managed to push Nish out out, but he returned shortly after and tried to make peace. However, as the vile Nish – played by Navin Chowdhry – tried to evict Suki from his house, he soon found out the lease was put in her name by Masoo but the bad news didn’t end there.

To add salt to the wound, Vinny admitted had signed over his share of the businesses over to her too and fiery Ravi and Priya tried to get Nish to leave the Panesar home but he wouldn’t go quietly. As he tried to attack his youngest son Vinny, it prompted Ravi had to haul Nish out and throw him on the street – leaving him homeless.

EastEnders fans have taken to twitter demanding to know what’s going on after he wasn’t even referenced on Thursday’s episode. One wrote: “Have I missed an episode? Last thing I saw was Nish being thrown out on Friday’s episode .. #eastenders”. While another added: “Nish got thrown in the street on Thursday and we’ve gotta sit here all episode today watching Whitney and Bianca #EastEnders.”

Nish

One viewer has predicted Nish has left Walford, and wrote: “I can imagine Nish is gone to see Ash and making himself so innocent and bringing Suki down, getting her on his side. Because he knows Suki and her daughter always had issues. #EastEnders #NishPanesar.”

Speaking to The Mirror recently, Navin told us he would unlikely let it drop and it was “all about timing”. He said: “I think there’s two sides of the story because of what happened to Kenau and what happened to Nish.

“From what we know from Nish, he may have temporarily dropped pursuit and stopped looking into it, but for a man like him to be overpowered by six women in The Vic on Christmas Day, it’s too much for him to surely let go of. So I think it’s about timing and he will want to get to the bottom of what happened exactly.”

George Knight (Colin Salmon) is set to leave Walford after making a big decision, following his dad’s murder revelation in EastEnders.

Not long ago, George discovered that his adopted parents had lied to him about his heritage, having allowed him to believe that his birth parents were Jamaican for most of his life.

When George learnt that his adoption had come after a process called child farming, which was more common among African parents, his mum Gloria Knight (Elizabeth Counsell) admitted that his parents were actually from Ghana.

That wasn’t the only revelation George’s adopted parents had for him, as he soon discovered that dad Eddie (Christopher Fairbank) was set to stand trial for a racially motivated murder.

George finally decided that he was going to stand his ground about cancelling the trip to Jamaica and telling the girls the truth about their heritage, until Gina dropped a bombshell.

When she revealed that she had spent £5000 on flights, George decided that he couldn’t go through with it, and instead agreed to go on the holiday after all.

EastEnders has confirmed that Martin Fowler’s return scenes will air later this month.

Martin has been name-checked in the latest set of official EastEnders teaser spoilers for upcoming episodes.

Viewers last saw Martin on January 22 when he headed off to Australia to support his sister Michelle, who was recovering from an operation.

EastEnders‘ newly-released short spoilers cover episodes airing on Monday, March 18, Tuesday, March 19, Wednesday, March 20 and Thursday, March 21.
